In order to spread the CSV (Creating Shared Value) approach, which has become a paradigm of new future management, we would like to review and win the industry's leading companies and institutions for a sustainable society in collaboration with Professor Michael Porter of Harvard University, the founder of CSV theory.
By running 11 Porter Prizes for Excellence in CSV, we have presented leading companies (institutions) that have grown while jointly pursuing economic and social values. In addition, as many companies are increasingly accelerating their efforts to create a sustainable competitive advantage through ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) management, we want to internalize the ESG management foundation along with the importance of creating shared value (CSV) and discover best practices that have business competitiveness.
*Creating Shared Value (CSV) is a management technique that harmonizes corporate economic values with community social values and is a new growth opportunity for companies to achieve economic success, moving beyond their existing notions of corporate social responsibility (CSR), philanthropy, and sustainability.
